The Center for Gender Studies at NISD is committed to initiating and conducting initiatives that promote equity and disseminate quality research on gender issues. Our mandate includes conducting educational and training programs on gender studies and gender mainstreaming, with the option of awarding diplomas and degrees at all levels. We house a cutting-edge resource center on gender studies, providing expertise and advice on matters related to gender equality, equity, diversity, and inclusivity.

To be a transformative force for gender equality, fostering a just and inclusive society where all genders can thrive.
Mission
Our vision is to be a propertied Gender-based Resource Center for the NISD community. We strive to be the reference house, regularly updating our library, resources, and databases on gender studies in both hard and electronic formats. This will serve as a comprehensive resource center for staff, students, and researchers connected to the Center for Gender Studies at NISD.
