The CGS Webinar Series successfully conducted the session titled “Gender Roles in Traditional vs Modern Societies” on 20th June 2025, from 7.30 PM to 9.30 PM, via Zoom. The webinar attracted around 100 participants, including students, academics, social work professionals, and individuals interested in gender studies, reflecting strong engagement with this timely and relevant topic. The session explored how traditional gender roles have evolved in modern societies, highlighting cultural influences, social expectations, and ongoing challenges to gender equality. Through insightful discussions and real-life examples, participants gained a deeper understanding of how gender norms shape identities, relationships, and social structures in both traditional and contemporary contexts. The webinar encouraged active participation through questions and dialogue, creating a dynamic and inclusive learning environment. Participants appreciated the clarity and relevance of the content presented. E-certificates were provided to all participants in recognition of their participation.
