Skill Development Program Marks Conclusion of Orientation for BWS 2024/25 Intake

The new cohort of students enrolled in the Bachelor of Social Work (Honours) Degree Programme (BWS 2024/25) at the School of Social Work, National Institute of Social Development, recently commenced their academic journey.

As part of their induction, a one-day Skill Development Program was conducted on 25th July 2025, marking the conclusion of the Orientation Programme. The session was facilitated by Mr. Lalith K. GangodaArachchi, a renowned personal development instructor, and held at the Seeduwa Municipal Council Sports Complex.

The event was graced by the Director General, Director of the School, Batch Coordinators, and other academic members of the Institute. The day-long program aimed to enhance personal and interpersonal competencies essential for professional social work practice.
