Centre for Quality Assurance – NISD
Mission
Our mission is to maintain and develop a quality – centric education and sustain the process of continuous improvements for all teaching learning and student support based on academic standers suited with the mission and vision of NISD.
The Center of Quality Assurance at NISD is committed to establishing and maintaining a culture of quality, fostering teaching and learning excellence, throughout the Institute. At the Center for Quality Assurance, we are committed to ensuring excellence in education, promoting a culture of continuous improvement, and our main focus is to enhance the quality of teaching, learning, research, and provision of best skills based higher educational experience for our students and staff.
Our Objectives
• To ensure that the institutional procedures are align with quality assurance protocols and national standards.
• Enhance the quality of education through continuous application of Quality Assurance Practices
• Maintain and enhance quality assurance procedures tailored to the specific needs and objectives of the NISD’s educational programs and services.
Functions and the responsibilities of CQA
• Facilitate the mission and objectives of the institution for enhancing the quality teaching, learning and quality education by preparing guidelines on QA for the Institution
• Coordinating all QA related activities in the institution
• Providing advice on QA to faculty and departments
• Establishment of Faculty QA Cells and defining their duties and responsibilities
• Organize workshops, seminars and appropriate training for capacity building and promoting QA culture at all levels of the institution.
• Review existing procedures for further improvement of delivery of teaching and learning
• Implement QA Reviews and follow up actions.
• Coordinating with NSHE/UGC/QAAC and other QA agencies
• Upgrade of the website to improve the Webometric Ranking
