Introductory Workshop on Institutional Review and Programme Review for Academic Staff

On August 21, 2023, the Center for Quality Assurance hosted an introductory workshop on Institutional Review and Programme Review for academic staff at Hotel Siyasra, Raddoluwa. The event aimed to enhance understanding of quality assurance processes in higher education and to equip faculty with the necessary skills for effective institutional and programmatic evaluation. The workshop featured expert speakers who provided insights into the principles and practices of institutional review, including the importance of maintaining high educational standards and ensuring accountability. Participants engaged in discussions on best practices for programme review, exploring how to assess curriculum effectiveness, student outcomes, and overall programme quality.

Interactive sessions allowed academic staff to collaborate and share experiences, fostering a culture of continuous improvement within their institutions. Resources and tools for conducting reviews were also shared, enabling attendees to implement strategies in their own departments.
