“Reviver” – A Short Film Released by ZeroPlastic Club, NISD

The ZeroPlastic Club of the National Institute of Social Development (NISD) proudly released “Reviver”, a thought-provoking short film, on the 23rd of July 2025. The event was graced by the presence of lecturers, students, and environmental enthusiasts, creating a vibrant atmosphere of engagement and reflection.
Created as a powerful medium to raise awareness about the growing impact of plastic pollution, Reviver aims to inspire sustainable behavioral change and promote environmental consciousness.
Departing from conventional storytelling, Reviver uses symbolic imagery, evocative scenes, and an artistic narrative to encourage deep reflection on humanity’s cyclical relationship with plastic and the environment.
The film’s title itself is a palindrome, symbolizing the repetitive nature of our actions and their environmental consequences. Adhering to the values promoted by ZeroPlastic, Reviver highlights the urgency of reducing plastic use through powerful visual storytelling while leaving room for audience interpretation.
