Workshop and Special Meeting to Develop CQA Process in NISD

On June 28, 2024, the National Institute of Social Development (NISD) held  a special meeting and a workshop on the progress of its Center for Quality Assurance (CQA) at Hotel Ariyana Reach, Maharagama, attended by key members of the academic staff, the Academic Affairs Board (AAB), and the Governing Council. The workshop proved to be highly productive, with participants engaging in comprehensive discussions aimed at refining and advancing the institute’s Quality Assurance Framework. The involvement of AAB and Governing Council members brought valuable perspectives, fostering a collaborative environment where challenges were openly addressed, and best practices were shared. This interactive session enabled a thorough review of existing processes and culminated in the development of strategic, actionable plans designed to elevate the overall quality assurance standards at NISD. The workshop underscored the institute’s commitment to continuous improvement and excellence in social work education.
