Workshop  for Academic Staff on SERC Writing Institutional Review and Program Review 

According to the annual work plan of the Center for Quality Assurance (CQA), a workshop was held on July 11, 2024, was dedicated to the particulars of Self-Evaluation Report (SERC) writing, Institutional Review (IR), and Program Review (PR). These areas are critical for maintaining and improving the quality of academic offerings. Prof. Shirantha Heenkenda, a distinguished expert in the field, led the workshop. His extensive knowledge and experience provided valuable insights and practical guidance to the participants. The workshop covered best practices in compiling and presenting SERs, the methodologies for conducting thorough and effective IRs, and the strategies for performing comprehensive PRs. Through interactive sessions and hands-on activities, the academic staff gained a deeper understanding of quality assurance processes and their effective implementation within their departments. This workshop is anticipated to significantly contribute to NISD’s ongoing efforts to achieve excellence in education and institutional performance.
