Mindada Hee Sara – 2025 – National Institute of Social Development: NISD

The Student Support Centre of NISD, in collaboration with third-year BSW students, organized “Mindada Hee Sara” on 14th of February 2025 to celebrate Valentine’s Day. The event featured a series of engaging programs throughout the day at the NISD premises.
The program commenced with a short film review led by award-winning director Mr. Sanjeewa Peththawadu, who served as the resource person for the session. This was followed by a thought-provoking discussion on “Premaanisansa,” focusing on youth and love, conducted by Mrs. Kumuduni Wedisinghe, Senior Training Officer of NISD.
Later, a literary criticism session titled “Swaraamathrana” was conducted by renowned writer and critic Mr. Mahinda Prasad Masimbula, offering deep insights into the themes of love and relationships in literature.
The event concluded with an energetic singing and dancing session, “Chandra Yaamaya” where students showcased their talents, adding a lively and celebratory atmosphere to the occasion.
