NISD signed MOU with ICRC
The National Institute of Social Development (NISD) and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) have signed a Partnership Agreement to strengthen academic and professional training in psychosocial support and ambiguous loss.
The partnership aims to integrate these concepts into relevant curricula, equipping future social workers and mental health practitioners with knowledge and skills to effectively respond to psychosocial needs.
It will also strengthen ongoing professional training, including through the Diploma in Case Management, and explore opportunities to expand these initiatives to other academic and professional training institutions.
Through this collaboration, NISD and ICRC aim to strengthen MHPSS capacity by promoting the integration of psychosocial knowledge and skills into academic and professional training.
