Sinhala and Tamil New Year Celebrations at NISD – 2025

The National Institute of Social Development (NISD) joyfully celebrated the Swarna Murtha – Sinhala and Tamil New Year on the 9th of April 2025 at its premises, under the esteemed headship of the Director General, Senior Professor Wasantha Subasinghe.

The event brought together students, academic staff, and non-academic staff to embrace and celebrate the rich cultural traditions that mark the dawn of the New Year.
